Learn to save money, reduce waste and transform your beautiful, organic fruits and vegetables into equally beautiful and tasty treats to keep year round and give away as gifts! This class provides an introduction to time-tested methods of home preserving without the need for special equipment.  Methods include drying, fermenting, canning and simple and effective freezing techniques for taking your cooking to the next level.

Recipes:

  • Kale chips and rainbow root vegetable chips
  • Fermented zucchini-thyme relish
  • Low-sugar, chia seed seasonal jam
